1.GENERAL

Simply Cannes arranges short-term accommodation in Cannes for individuals and companies.

2. BOOKING

Bookings shall be confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking form. The names of all occupants will be stated. A non-refundable payment of 50% of the total rent is required where the booking is made more than 6 weeks before the arrival date. At this point a booking confirmation email will be sent by Simply Cannes for the outstanding balance. Where the booking is made less than 6 weeks before the arrival date, the full amount of the total rent is payable at the time of booking. Confirmation of the booking will be made by email, telephone or in writing.The person or company who has signed the booking form is responsible for initial and subsequent payments. We reserve the right to refuse any booking without giving any reason.

3. PAYMENT

We currently accept bank transfers only in Euros or Sterling. We do not accept cash or cheques. Payments must be made within 24 hours of the booking confirmation. In some cases a copy of the payment may be required to confirm that payment has been made. Failure to pay the initial payment or the balance on time will constitute cancellation.


4. RATES

All prices given are in Euros. Prices are based on 2 people sharing and a supplement of €200 (Rue Coste Corail) & €250 (Rue Hoche) per week is charged for each additional occupant/s over 2. Properties are let fully furnished and equipped. The price for all properties includes bed linen, bath towels and final cleaning services. Rates include: all taxes, gas, electricity, water usage, professional cleaning before & after, TV licence, sky and WIFI (where applicable). Rates do not include: Additional services such as additional laundry & cleaning, Insurance for guests' luggage, cash, and valuables: please contact your insurance agent before departure.

5.CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellations must be made in writing or by email and be from the person or company named on the booking form. Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the arrival date will result in 50% of the total rent being charged. Simply Cannes will accept cancellations made less than 6 weeks before the arrival date but regret that no refund will be made to the guest. To avoid cancellations we strongly recommend that flights or arrival plans are made concurrently with booking the apartment.

6.SECURITY DEPOSIT

Simply Cannes charges a deposit of 200 Euros (Rue Coste Corail) and 250 Euros (Rue Hoche). Simply Cannes agrees to return the deposit within 1 week after departure, subject to any damages or losses made to the apartment. In cases where a cash deposit is given at the meet and greet, the deposit will be returned in cash to the guests (subject to any damage) at the time of the departure.

8. PROPERTY DETAILS

Simply Cannes makes every effort to ensure that the description and pictures of the property are accurate and does not accept responsibility for errors contained therein.

9. ACCESS - ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIME

Please confirm your arrival & departure times on the booking form so that Simply Cannes can arrange to send the keys (if based in the UK) or to arrange a ‘Meet & Greet’ and hand over the keys. A charge of 15 Euros is made to guetss for the meet and greet. Please specify the number of sets of keys required. Simply Cannes will endeavour to accommodate guests arrival and departure times, however in the peak season & for the avoidance of doubt, clients should make arrangements not to arrival before 9am on the arrival day and must vacate the property before 2pm on the departure day. Simply Cannes shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. Guests requiring a meet and greet who are arriving outside of normal business hours (9am - 7pm) will incur and additonal charge of 30 Euros. Simply Cannes shall be allowed access to the accommodation at any reasonable time during any occupancy for the purposes of inspection and maintenance.

10. OCCUPANTS

Only those persons named on the booking form may use the property. The maximum number of people residing in the property after midnight must not exceed the number of sleeping places indicated on the booking confirmation. In the event that the maximum number is exceeded without prior agreement, Simply Cannes reserves the right to revoke the contract immediately and at its sole discretion with no refund payable.

11. PETS

Simply Cannes does not allow pets into any apartment unless it agreed on the booking confirmation form. An additional deposit may be required.


12. SMOKING

For the comfort of future guests and due to the nature of the apartments we regret that smoking is prohibited in all properties.

13. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The guests must keep the property and all furniture, fittings, effects, facilities and equipment in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the stay, and leave the accommodation in the same general order in which it was found. Guests are responsible for all damage or loss, which occurs to the property or its contents during your occupation, and will be responsible for paying appropriate compensation to Simply Cannes in the event of damage. The guests agree to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The guests also agree not to act in any way, which would cause disturbance to those residents in neighbouring properties. Should guests not behave in such a manner, Simply Cannes may at its absolute discretion ask guests to vacate the property immediately without a refund of the rent.

14. LINEN & TOWELS

The cost of bed linen is included in our rentals, but is advisable to take baby linen if needed. Bath and hand towels are included in all properties but we do not provide beach towels.

15. PROBLEMS

The guests will report any problems directly to Simply Cannes on the number provided. Simply Cannes will endeavour to remedy these problems as quickly as possible. Simply Cannes will not be held liable for a) Any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment or appliance in the property. b) For any loss, damage or injury to the client, family, friends or visitors to the property during the rental period c) For any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the owner d) For any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to, or suffered by the client, if the property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event, Simply Cannes shall, within seven days of notification to the guests, refund to the client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period e) For noise or disturbance originating beyond the boundaries of the accommodation or which is beyond our control. Under no circumstances shall Simply Cannes’ liability to the client exceed the amount paid to Simply Cannes for the rental period.

18. SOCIAL, BUSINESS, TRADE EVENTS AND OTHER FUNCTIONS

It is Simply Cannes policy to allow only residential use and not to allow social, business, trade events and other functions (exhibitions, trade desks, weddings, receptions, large cocktail parties) on the property without prior agreement at the discretion of ourselves.

19. SECURITY AND VALUABLES

Any valuables left at the property are left at guests own risk. Simply Cannes does not accept responsibility for guests valuables, luggage or cash. The door to the building must always be shut securely. The door to the apartment must be always locked with key(s) when guests are outside the accommodation. Failure to comply may result in the guests being fully liable for any resulting losses incurred to Simply Cannes. Simply Cannes accepts no responsibility for any personal injury or loss, damage or consequential losses due to theft or any other security related incident howsoever caused.

20. INSURANCE

You and Your belongings are not covered by property insurance or any insurance of Simply Cannes. Simply Cannes strongly recommends that guests obtain insurance cover for themselves, every member of the party, their luggage and their party's luggage, cash, jewels, valuables, etc. by comprehensive travel insurance. Please contact your insurance agent or your travel agent before leaving your permanent home. Simply Cannes also advises all guests have a valid European Health Insurance Card which will entitle you to receive all medical treatment available to French nationals with valid travel insurance. Simply Cannes accepts no responsibility for guests personal injury howsoever caused during the rental period.

21. LAW

All contractual obligations arising out of these booking rental conditions shall be deemed to come into existence in Cannes , FRANCE , and be subject to French law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cannes courts.

PLEASE NOTE THAT BY SIGNING THE BOOKING CONFIRMATION YOU & NAMED OCCUPANTS ARE AGREEING TO SIMPLY CANNES TERMS AND CONDITIONS. For the avoidance of doubt, occupants not named on the booking form are still bound by the above terms and Simply Cannes accepts no responsibility for them or their belongings and reserves the right to request they leave the apartment immediately without any refund.
